PROJECT OVERVIEW

These designs were created for a night-club interior based on the theme of the sunken city of Atlantis. There are several locations where Atlantis is theorised to be however, I chose to theme the design around the South-American location as described by Plato. The Mayan civilisation was considered to be technologically advanced which fitted the theories of Atlantis allowing for a blend of ancient and futuristic architecture and style.

These drawings have been created using technical fine-liners and graphic markers to illustrate the final interior concept designs. The colour palette takes on a mix of neutral tones, metallics and neons to enhance the idea of ancient and futuristic elements working in cohesion. Mayan symbolism has been used throughout the designs along with re-occurring stylistic elements to ensure a consistent aesthetic was achieved.
