One of my longest standing clients since 2005, Grooveland Music Brazil has grown as a record label with expansion into merchandise and live music events. Label boss, Edground has ensured a constant high quality throughout Grooveland's catalogue both with music and a visual presence.  My work with Grooveland Music has included design for branding, single and album releases and fashion items. The following are some choice picks from the Grooveland design portfolio over the last 14 years.

[SLEEVE DESIGNS]

Rather than using a template to unify each of Grooveland’s releases, an individual approach was taken when designing the artwork. In most cases, I listened to the music to get a sense of the kind of imagery that would fit the theme of the release itself. To compliment the sleeve designs, CD labels and Facebook banners were created to assist the label's promotional campaign for the music.

[T-SHIRT DESIGNS]

Merchandise is a relatively new project for Grooveland, however, the recent t-shirts designs have been much sought after. These examples are two fairly contrasting designs I put together with Grooveland's logo and branding in mind. The blue shirt draws influences from the Brazilian flag and carnival culture whereas the white design is based on elements of football shirts.
